Roof repairs - why now?

All Saints Church is the oldest building in Horsford, a church has been on the site for over 900 and has faithfully served the village through weddings, baptisms, saying goodbye to loved ones, Sunday services and involvement in community projects, and it continues in faithful service to this day.
The church roof is however now in need of urgent repairs, it leaks rainwater inside, it needs weatherproofing, new roof drains, new gutters and a new thatch roof.
We need to raise £50,000 to do the repairs.

Raising £50,000 is a big task for a small church congregation but we have already managed to raise £10,000 towards the overall roof repairs project.
Giving £21 would sponsor a bundle of reed thatch.
Giving £25 would help towards making the roof watertight and weather-proof again.
Giving £50 would help towards replacing ancient and leaking gutters with new glamorous and fit for purpose gutters.

You can give online. We have partnered with Stewardship, to enable donations to be given securely online, and benefit from Gift Aid, where it applicable to each gift.
You can give cash by putting envelope in the church collection on Sunday, clearly marked, 'Roof Repairs Project'.
You can send a cheque, to Revd Margaret McPhee, payable to Horsford PCC, clearly marked 'Roof Repairs Project' at The Rectory, 1B Gordon Godfrey Way, Horsford, NR10 3SG.
You can give anonymously in all three ways above, but we would be pleased to send you a 'Thank you' card for your kind donation, please do leave us a contact name and address, we will only use your details to contact you to say thank you!

Donating with Stewardship is really easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give.
Should we not raise sufficient funds to undertake the church roof repairs project, funds will be used towards the general funds of All Saints Church, Horsford.
Should this fundraiser for the church roof repairs project exceed its target, excess funds will be used towards the reordering project Phase 2 fund for All Saints Church, Horsford.
