New thatch - why now?
-
The church roof drains have been repiared and is watertight once more, grateful thanks to all who have supported us.
-
We now need to raise funds to pay for a new thatched roof for the Chancel (the part on the end of the church building).
-
We need to raise £77,500 to new thatching and cover professional fees and health and safety surveys; so far over £60,00 has been raised!

Supporting the All Saints Church thatched roof fundraising project is simple. We have created several ways for giving, ensuring that everyone can participate.
Raising £77,500 is a big task for a small church congregation but we have already succeeded in raising £60,000 towards the overall roof repairs project.
- Giving £21 would sponsor a bundle of reed thatch.
- Giving £25 would help towards the thatching work
- Giving £50 would help towards getting the thatch out of storage and onto the church roof!
